Plain-language privacy
Your information is for the waitlist, not for sale.
This policy explains what Musical Captions collects through the early-access waitlist, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, email address, phone number, and marketing consent.
We also record limited information that helps us understand whether the page is working, including a random visitor ID, page variant, referral page, landing-page path, and campaign tags such as UTM source, medium, and campaign. The site stores the random visitor ID and page variant in your browser's local storage.
How we use it
- Save and manage your place on the Musical Captions waitlist.
- Send the early-access updates you requested by email or text.
- Understand which page messages help musicians decide whether Musical Captions is right for them.
- Prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and keep the waitlist working.
How information is shared
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the waitlist, host the site and database, manage contacts, and send requested updates. That currently includes our website infrastructure and GoHighLevel, our customer-relationship and messaging platform.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or integrity of Musical Captions and its users.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails using the unsubscribe link in a message. You can stop text messages by replying STOP. You may also ask us to correct or delete your waitlist information by replying to any Musical Captions email or text you receive.
You can remove the experiment identifier stored on your device by clearing this site's local storage in your browser.
Retention and security
We keep waitlist information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide early access, communicate with you, measure the waitlist, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect the information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children and changes
The Musical Captions waitlist is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We may update this policy as the product and its services evolve. Any updated version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
Questions or privacy requests
Reply to any email or text you receive from Musical Captions and tell us what you need. We will use the contact information in that conversation to locate and respond to your request.
